This level 2 charging station is hardwired and comes with a 25-foot cord that can bring your EV from 0% to 100% in as little as 8.9 hours. However, if you need to charge for a low mileage trip, the level 2 Honda Home Charging Station produces 35.7 miles per hour so you can get back to finishing that to-do list quicker than you’d think. Furthermore, the Honda Home Charging Station can be connected to your home WiFi so you can track your EV’s scheduled charge time.
Honda Portable Charging Kit
Aside from Package A will be Package B and this package includes a Honda Portable Charging Kit. Inside of the charging kit will be one level 1 charging adapter that is 25 feet long as well as a level 2 charging adapter that is also the same length. The Honda Portable Charging Kit does not boast the same charge time as the Home station but still does well with charging your Honda EV from 0% to 100% in 13.1 hours or 23.2 miles per hour when utilizing the level 2 charger. However, these charge times do extend quite a bit when utilizing a level 1 charger that is designed for an average household outlet, which could end up taking several days for a full charge. The Honda Portable Charging Kit is best suited for low-mileage drivers who may not require a full charge for daily routines.
Honda Home Electrification
When you purchase your new Honda EV you are given what's known as an HHE Installation Credit. This credit goes towards powering your home to help support either package you choose by installing solar panels on your home, harnessing your home’s power through the water heater, and more eco-friendly options.
