EX-L

Beginning with the base trim, the 2023 Passport EX-L, we find housed within the hood, a potent 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 280 horsepower and up to 262 lb.-ft of torque. The Intelligent Variable Torque Management™ (i-VTM4®) AWD system provides optimal power to each wheel and features Snow, Sand, and Mud modes for versatile performance optimization.

Moving on, the Passport EX-L comes furnished with a significant number of interior features and technologies as default. Some of these include leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, a one-touch power moonroof, a 7-speaker, 215-watt audio system, tri-zone automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and an 8-inch display audio touchscreen.

The EX-L also equips you with Honda Sensing®, Honda’s sophisticated and intuitive suite of driver-assistant and safety technologies designed to enhance your command of the vehicle and provide backup when necessary.

TrailSport

Moving up one trim level, we find the same features as the EX-L on the 2023 Passport TrailSport; however, there are a few standout differences. Right off the bat, a noticeable difference, the TrailSport comes equipped with roof rails. TrailSport also features LED fog lights and a heated wiper zone.

This trim adds eye-catching orange stitching to its leather-trimmed seats, integrated sunshades for the second row, and illuminated beverage holders in the front.

On top of that, the Passport TrailSport comes standard with the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with voice recognition and Honda HD digital traffic. In addition, you’ll have access to a 115-volt power outlet.

Elite

Lastly, we come face to face with the head honcho, the leader of the pack, and the highest-level trim – the 2023 Passport Elite. As expected, the Elite trim comes outfitted the many of the same features, amenities, and capabilities as the first two trims but adds luxury and convenience at every turn.

Swapping out the 7-speaker, 215-watt audio system, the Elite instead provides a 540-watt premium audio system with ten speakers and a subwoofer. Also, the Elite is Wi-Fi® hotspot capable and includes HondaLink® subscription services. What’s more, the Elite also provides perforated, heated, and ventilated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a hands-free power tailgate.

We hope this has helped to better understand the similarities and differences between the 2023 Passport trims. With that said, there is only so much reading can do.
