The Honda Crosstour is a Perfect All-Weather Vehicle

The Honda Crosstour was introduced as a variation of the Honda model Accord, which was first produced in the year 2008. On July 7, 2009, Honda announced the Accord Crosstour, which was a full-size SUV crossover. With SUV-like qualities plus the cargo room, the Crosstour has wagon-like style that is great for any season of life or weather.

2010-2011

Compared to the Accord sedan, the Accord Crosstour is a hatchback version that shares the same platform. The benefits are increased ride height and available FWD or AWD. The Accord Crosstour is elongated with two rows of seating, the roof sloping into the rear cargo area.

It features a 3.5L V6 engine that produces 271 hp, with a solitary five-speed automatic transmission. In testing, the Accord Crosstour in FWD went from 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. The Crosstour performed well on the road, with a quieter ride and composed handling. The steering capability also made it a nice and safer ride.

Honda then revamped the Accord Crosstour. In 2012 they dropped the name Accord and redubbed it just “Crosstour.” There are two trim styles: EX and EX-L. The front grille was completely redesigned to have a sleeker look. It also features a quiet cabin when driving and composed handling like before.

The Crosstour has two engines: 2.4L four-cylinder that produces 192 hp and a 2.5L V6 that produces 271 hp.  Both offer five-speed automatic transmissions and FWD standard. In the EX-L, AWD is an option as well. It also hit the 0-60 mark in 7.5 seconds during testing, and has a lot of room for passengers in the cabin.

2013

The 2013 Crosstour will be redesigned with a new front grille, headlamps, wheels, tires, and rear end. A concept car was debuted at the 2012 New York International Show in April, but the interior was not shown to the public. Based on the past Crosstour models, it should have amazing driving dynamics and handling capabilities.
