The Affordably Priced 2015 Honda CR-V is Available Now

If you were wondering when you’d be able to get behind the wheel of the 2015 Honda CR-V in the greater Chicagoland area, now is the time. The new CR-V is priced starting at just 2015-cr-v-suv-side3 (1)$23,320 (MSRP),* and it’s waiting for you here at Community Honda in Orland Park. While the price of Honda’s crossover sure makes it appealing, there’s so much more to love about this vehicle.

Let’s take a look at all that you can get from one of the world’s best-selling family vehicles.

Four Trim Levels—All with All-Wheel Drive Available

First thing’s first: Honda’s made it a point to make their entry-level models some of the best equipped and most competitive on the road, and the CR-V is no exception. The entry-level LX model comes standard with Bluetooth for phone and audio, a touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, Pandora internet radio, SMS texting capabilities, and steering wheel-mounted controls for cruise, audio, and phone calls.

But we know that some of you want more, and you can get it in one of three higher trim levels:

  • EX: Stepping up to the EX trim adds on 17-inch alloy wheels, a multi-angle rearview camera, Honda LaneWatch, push-button start, and LED daytime running lights.
  • EX-L: Leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel bring a new level of class to the CR-V, while the tech gets an upgrade with a 328-watt stereo system, an automatic dimming rearview mirror, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
  • Touring: The top-of-the-line model, the CR-V Touring takes the amenities of the EX-L and adds on Honda’s Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assistance, and more atop 18-inch alloy wheels.

Each of these trim levels has Honda’s Real Time All-Wheel Drive system available as well, giving you the traction you need to conquer those tough Chicago winters. And with the 2015 Honda CR-V 2WD models earning an EPA-estimated 34 highway mpg,** Honda’s crossover will fit into your family budget with ease.

The 2015 Civic Type R Debuts at the Paris Motor Show

We just received the 2015 Honda Civic in stock here at Community Honda in Orland Park, and while we’re as excited as ever to be able to offer it to all of our Chicagoland drivers, ourPresentation of the new car eyes have been across the Atlantic at the Paris Motor Show’s debut of the 2015 Honda Civic Type R.

Since the Type R is built on the worldwide Honda platform, we still have no news on whether or not the vehicle will ever hit the shores of the United States let alone our new vehicle showcase, but as of right now, it looks to be exclusive to the European market. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t get excited about it.

What’s New About the Type R?

This vehicle is one of the most highly anticipated hot hatches in the history of the class, and the Civic Type R is so exciting not just because of what it can do, but also because it will be the first Honda to bear a turbocharged engine. The 2.0L turbo four-cylinder under the hood has been teased to produce “more than 276 hp.” And though some drivers will surely miss the feeling offered by Honda’s traditional VTEC engines, we think that the power will surely make up for it.

If you’ve seen the pictures, you probably also have noticed that the Type R has changed in its hot red paint job for a brilliant cool blue, ushering in a new age of the hot hatch. How new of an age are we talking about? Well, Honda has teased that the Type R will offer unmatched performance against models like the Integra, Accord, Civic, and even the famous NSX.

More powerful than the NSX; let’s let that one sink in. We do hope the Type R finds its way across the pond eventually.

Test Drive a Civic Today

While we won’t have the Type R at Community Honda anytime soon, we do have the current Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe in stock as well as the 2014 Honda Civic Si Sedan and Coupe for drivers seeking a sport-tuned, track-ready Civic. Contact our showroom and let us put you behind the wheel of a new Honda; we can’t wait to see you in the driver’s seat.

Four Different Trim Levels

We have the 2015 Civic in our new vehicle inventory, but we’d rather it be in your garage. And with affordable prices like these, it’s tough to argue with the Civic being one of the best choices in the compact car world:

  • SE: New for the 2015 model year, the Special Edition trim starts at just $19,990 (MSRP)* and adds to the LX trim with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, Honda LaneWatch, and more.
  • EX: The EX trim level comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, a one-touch power moonroof, push-button start, halogen headlights, and more for just $21,190 (MSRP).*

And one of the best parts about the Civic is that it stays affordable for the long-term thanks to a great fuel economy. The 2015 Honda Civic with CVT earns an EPA-estimated 39 highway mpg,** helping to cement the Civic’s reputation as one of the most efficient vehicles on the road.

What Can You Expect from a 2015 Honda Crosstour?

The 2015 Honda Crosstour is coming soon to Community Honda in Orland Park, and we can’t wait to put you behind the wheel of this incredible new family vehicle. But just what is it about the Crosstour that makes it one of the most popular hatchbacks in the Midwest? We’re glad you asked, as we just wrote an overview of what you can expect from this unique 2015-honda-crosstour-exterior-feature-front1vehicle.

One of the Smartest Family Vehicles

Are you shopping for a family vehicle but can’t decide between a sedan or a crossover? Now you don’t have to. The Crosstour walks the line between both, giving you the spacious interior and cargo storage of a crossover with the handling of a midsize. It really is the best of both worlds, and with two different engine choices alongside the option for all-wheel drive, we think it’s easy for you to find a Crosstour that fits your needs.

Beginning as a special hatchback take on the Accord, Honda very quickly gave the Crosstour its own line, and the entry-level EX model sports a 2.4L four-cylinder engine with front-wheel drive. If you’re looking for more, though, Honda has a 3.5L V6 with optional all-wheel drive as well.

Don’t worry about your fuel bills either; the Crosstour has been built to be one of the most efficient options available. The 2015 Crosstour EX with 2.4L four-cylinder engine gets an EPA-estimated 31 highway mpg* despite offering up 192 hp.

With seating for up to five, the Crosstour can easily slide into your garage just as comfortably as it will fit into your budget, and with up to 51.3 cubic feet of cargo storage, it’s ready to handle whatever life may throw at you.

Finally, the standard features on the entry-level Crosstour continue to distance it from competing models, including”

  • Bluetooth HandsFreeLink
  • USB/iPod connection
  • One-touch turn signals
  • Expanded-view driver’s mirror

Honda Announces 2015 Crosstour Price

We’ve spoken a bit about the Crosstour before, including the brand new 2015 model, but we haven’t yet told you one of the best parts about the vehicle: its price. The 2015 Honda 2015-honda-crosstour-exterior-feature-rear1Crosstour starts at just $27,530 (MSRP),* and while that’s the basic EX model of the Crosstour, there’s really nothing basic about it. It walks the line between crossover and sedan, giving you the benefits of both without compromising one inch and really standing out from the crowd in our new vehicle lots.

What to Expect in the Crosstour EX

With 51.3 cubic feet of cargo storage space available to you as well as a hidden removal utility box, it’s clear that the Crosstour EX is capable of loading up a car full of groceries, the family’s bikes, or even making room for Fido for a trip to the vet. But there’s more than just space that sets the Crosstour apart from competing models.

The entry-level EX comes with features like Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, foglights, a rearview camera with guidelines, one-touch turn signals, an expanded-view driver’s mirror, and more. And under the hood is a 192 hp 2.4L four-cylinder with 162 lb-ft of torque, but if you need more power, there’s always a V6 to upgrade to.

Should I Upgrade?

Upgrading the Crosstour can not only give you added technology and convenience features, but a more powerful engine and four-wheel drive as well. But is it the right choice for you? We know that many drivers will be plenty satisfied with the EX trim level, but if you want leather upholstery, a more powerful V6 engine, or all-wheel drive, upgrading may be right for you.

The only way you can know for sure which Crosstour is the right choice is to experience them both firsthand. Ask to take the entry-level EX for a spin as well as the top-of-the-line EX-L with V6 and all-wheel drive. Now you can have a real idea of what this car can offer you.

The Civic Returns for 2015 with a Special Edition

The 2015 Honda Pilot isn’t the only vehicle receiving Honda’s “Special Edition” treatment; when the 2015 Civic hits our showroom, drivers will be able to add Special Edition to its list of trims and options. Of course, Honda has just announced this new trim, so we 2015_civic_se_sedan_exterior_690x430at Community Honda in Orland Park figured you could use a quick look at it before visiting us for a test drive.

What’s New on the Civic?

With the Special Edition, Honda has fused a youthful, sporty design with one of the best selections of standard features. And when you factor in the Civic’s fun-to-drive powertrain and the unique features and accents of the SE trim level, it’s clear that 2015 is going to be a great year for the Civic.

The new SE trim level fits right between the entry-level LX and the EX trim level, giving drivers access to upgrades in audio, comfort, and convenience as well as some stylistic boosts.

Standard on the Civic Sedan SE are a continuously variable transmission, Honda’s LaneWatch safety technology, 15-inch alloy wheels with black painted inserts, Display Audio with the next-gen HondaLink app suite and added tweeter speakers, and automatic climate control.

This, of course, is in addition to the standard features you’ll find on every Civic, including Honda’s touchscreen i-MID infotainment system, steering wheel-mounted controls, a rearview camera system, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, Pandora internet radio, SMS texting capabilities, and more.

And as always, the Civic continues to be one of the most fuel-efficient in its class, with CVT models getting the most out of every drop of fuel. The 2015 Honda Civic SE with CVT earns an EPA-estimated 39 highway mpg,* leaving the competition in the dust.
