Ridgeline Fuel Economy

With front-wheel drive and a standard six-speed automatic transmission, the new Ridgeline earns an EPA estimated 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway/22 mpg combined*. That’s with all trims except the RTL-E and Black Edition, as those are only offered with all-wheel drive. With all-wheel drive and a standard six-speed transmission, you’ll reach up to an EPA estimated 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway/21 mpg combined*, and that’s at all trim levels of the Ridgeline.

According to Edmunds, the Ridgeline does better than any other truck in the midsize pickup segment with a gas powered V6 engine. They note that the Chevrolet Colorado only achieves up to 18 mpg city/26 mpg highway with a 3.6L V6, while the Toyota Tacoma is rated at only 19 mpg city/24 mpg highway with 3.5L V6 engine.

The Ridgeline also includes robust engine technology. The 3.5L V6 under the hood of the Ridgeline uses direct injection and variable cylinder management, and it provides 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque.
