The 2016 Honda Pilot has earned some of the top safety scores in the segment. In the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety testing, the 2016 Pilot earned the best possible Top Safety Pick+ ranking. It received the “Good” score in all crash tests, including the small front overlap, moderate front overlap, side, rollover, and seat and head restraint tests. The new 2016 Honda HR-V Earns Glowing Reviews From Critics

2016 Honda HR-V

2016 Honda HR-V

The new 2016 Honda HR-V, the latest Honda subcompact crossover SUV, has been earning praise around the world for its smart design, exceptional efficiency, high-tech features, and capacious cargo space. The automotive press has nearly unilaterally blessed the HR-V with top honors, in this increasingly popular segment. Want to find out more about what the experts are talking about? Read on!

Edmunds praised the 2016 Honda HR-V for its “roomy interior and seating; versatile cargo loading thanks to unique rear seat; high fuel economy; [and] excellent outward visibility.” Edmunds editors went on to say, “The HR-V also provides high fuel economy, a sporty driving feel, available all-wheel drive and a solid collection of tech and convenience features for the money.”

Kelley Blue Book

Matt Degen of Kelley Blue Book said that, “The HR-V aims to do more with less and largely succeeds thanks to its easy driving manners, good fuel economy and bigger-than-you-think interior.”

Jason Fogelson wrote at the Forbes Life blog that the “HR-V is good looking, fuel efficient and affordably priced.” He went on to praise the Honda strategy, saying, “By waiting for the market to get established, Honda has had a chance to benchmark the competition and come up with a winner. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a whole lot of HR-V compact crossovers on the road in the very near future.” Review senior editor Mike Hanley said that the 2016 Honda HR-V has “one of the roomiest – and most configurable – interiors in the class.”

Automobile Magazine

Automobile editor Joseph Capparella said, “The more you look at the 2016 Honda HR-V in the context of Honda’s lineup, the more compelling it gets. For a similar price and only a small fuel-economy penalty compared with the Civic or the Fit, the 2016 Honda HR-V offers more cargo space, available all-wheel drive, a high seating position that everyone seems to love, and a more cocooned driving experience. It’s also more maneuverable, more efficient, and less expensive than the CR-V.”
