The 2014 Honda Crosstour Offers Drivers Class and Practicality

2014 Honda Crosstour

Originally part of the Honda Accord lineup, the Crosstour takes the elegant look of the Accord and adds a hatchback for increased cargo space and versatility. Today, the 2014 Honda Crosstour is part of its own model line and currently on sale at our Community Honda of Orland Park dealership. This is a practical vehicle that offers plenty of luxury, space, and modern features.

Power and Efficiency

There are two different engine options for the Crosstour. The standard is a 2.4L four-cylinder with a power output of 192 hp and 162 lb-t of torque. With the standard five-speed automatic and front-wheel drive (all-wheel drive is available), the 2014 Honda Crosstour is rated at 22 mpg city and 31 mpg highway.* For more power, there’s a 3.5L V6 that’s rated at 278 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque.

Storage Options

So what’s the major advantage of choosing the Crosstour over the Accord? The short answer: storage. With full passenger capacity, you can fit 25.7 cubic feet of your stuff behind the back seats. The rear seat is also 60/40 split folding with easy access levers, so they can fold down completely. With both seats down, there’s 51.3 cubic feet available.

Honda has also included many other storage spots throughout the vehicle. Perhaps the neatest is a utility box hidden below the cargo area. It’s water proof and can even be removed to take on to the beach!

Two Trims to Choose From

The two trims you’re able to choose from are EX and EX-L. The EX has standard Bluetooth with access to Pandora radio, a rearview camera, and a seven-speaker audio system with a USB input. Moving up to the EX-L gets you leather seats, satellite radio, heated front seats, and quite a bit more.
